The girl in this picture likes chocolate. Loves chocolate. And horses, cats, and rabbits. She loves all colors equally – and has the entire Crayola box memorized! – as well as music, gemstones, and pretty much anything that can be listed or categorized. Her interests all pop up in one form or another in her stories.
My name is Erica Converso. I’m happily married, a former (and possibly future) librarian, and an avid reader, particularly in the areas of young adult and fantasy fiction. I’ve lived my entire life on Long Island save for four years in Boston – and boy, do I miss the fall foliage! – and love that the reading culture here includes such fabulous indie bookstores as The Book Revue, The Dolphin Bookshop, and BookHampton.
I’ve wanted to be an author since before I could remember, and have been daydreaming and making up adventures my entire life. In fifth grade, my career report was on how to become an “author/illustrator.” I’ve been following the self-publishing explosion, and am convinced that this is the best time in history to become a writer. I’m learning new skills every day, and hope to always be a better writer than I was the day before. I can’t wait to share my work with you!
